Demo the Cinema Premiere
Online Movie Manager
The demo system is set up just like the live system with all features enabled. It uses a live database that can be modified by anyone so Cinema Premiere is not responsible for what movies you might find.
The buttons to your left will log you in to the demo movie manager database. You can also log in to the left under Registered Users using :
User Name: demo
Password: demo
You can add, edit, delete and search for movies. You can also modify the options including the color display settings. Remember that you must press the "Update Database" button when you make changes for the changes to take affect. You can access the user manual from each screen by pressing the 'Help' tab. There is also context help on each field. Just click on the field title.
Cinema Premiere was written to be viewed primarily through a customized browser interface, CP browser, which requires IE to be installed on your Windows system. However, you can use your default browser, but you will not be able to play any movies that you add to the demo database that are located on your local hard drive. For default browsers, currently only IE and Firefox have been tested.
For a true Cinema Premiere experience, running the customized browser interface is recommended. It will allow you to:
- play movies on your hard drive by starting up your default player loaded with the movie you selected.
- create a PrintDirectory text file of your movie files from the Import Txt screen.
- give you a cleaner look and feel.
There is nothing to install and it is guaranteed not to have any viruses or spyware. You can either download and save it or just run it from the Download screen.
I do ask that you be considerate by:
- Not deleting all the movies
- Not adding movies with X-rated cover images
- Not setting a parental control password without immediately resetting it to blank.
When you subscribe to Cinema Premiere Online, you can also set up an additional user name that has limited rights to your database. This user can only search, view and play movies located on the user's local hard drive (if using the CP browser.) If you wish to demo the movie manager using a limited user, log in to the left under Registered Users using
User Name: demolimited
Password: demolimited
Enjoy!
